Academic Excellence - Based on the results of last year’s NYS testing, our students out- performed our neighboring public and private schools in nearly every grade and subject area. Additionally, our 4th grade students recorded the highest scores of any school in the entire state!
The convenience of on-site before and aftercare. Our aftercare program allows students time to do their homework as well as time to play and just be kids.
Our students learn to live our motto “To serve, Not be Served” by getting involved in various service projects including food donations in support of the hungry in the immediate area; dress down day fundraisers in support of many initiatives that fulfill the Corporal Works of Mercy across grade levels and more.
Prayer Partner initiative that pairs older students with younger students and supports Catholic values. Prayer Partner activities include going to mass, Valentines for Vets, Break-Feast for Thanksgiving and Parishioner Breakfast events.
A strong parent community. Throughout the year there are many events for St. Margaret families to get together and have fun including the Color Run, Family Fun Day, New Year’s Eve party, golf outing and various parent nights out.
High School Scholarship Moneyand Acceptance - Over the past three years, our scholarship offers have grown to $390,000. Plus, this year 100% of the 8th graders were accepted into all their high schools of choice.
Rigorous curriculum that aligns with the NYS CCLS to better prepare students for high school. We offer math tutoring throughout the year in preparation for the June Regents exam.
Every classroom is equipped with multimedia technology that allows teachers to educate their students with state-of-the art teaching tools.
And yes, we teach cursive handwriting! Cursive handwriting stimulates the brain, improves fine motor skills and increases speed in note taking.
